About Marshall County’s
Premier Flower Farm
We are a small family farm in Plymouth, Indiana offering a unique flower field setting for photography purposes and intimate gatherings, u-pick events, and pre-arranged bouquets sold via subscription or at our roadside stand. In addition to flowers, we sell hay, eggs, honey, and seasonal produce.

Our Mission
At Rooster Hill Farms and Gardens, our mission is to create a welcoming oasis where families and individuals can immerse themselves in the splendor of nature, capture cherished memories, and experience the joy and tranquility that flowers bring. Through our picturesque fields, vibrant U-pick blooms, handcrafted bouquets, and enriching gardening and homesteading workshops, we aim to inspire connection, happiness, and a deeper appreciation for the outdoors and agriculture.
Who We Are
Chelsea Smith
CHIEF BLOOM OFFICER
& CHAOS COORDINATOR
From transplanting to harvesting, marketing to social media, and everything in between, Chelsea is the heart and soul of the flower and produce side of our farm. With a love and appreciation for this little piece of land, she’s working hard to diversify the farm to, one day, pass on a profitable and sustainable operation on to her children.
Matt Smith
FARM FABRICATOR
& MAKER OF MIRACLES
Matt is the behind the scenes builder, problem-solver, and infrastructure guru. From installing irrigation to baling hay, he’s the tireless workhorse who brings Chelsea’s dreams to life. Matt is a unique blend of strength, skill, humor, and unwavering commitment to the farm and our family.
Jack Roose
FIRST GENERATION FOUNDER
& WISDOM-GIVER
Farming is more than just planting seeds. Little did he know when he started farming in the 80s that he would root a vision that has grown into a family legacy. He ignited the spark that now burns in the next generation and his guidance continues to shape every field, row, and bloom.
Dawn Roose
WEED WRANGLER &
HEART OF HOSPITALITY
Dawn is the quiet force behind the beauty and warmth of the farm. With a servant’s heart and an eye for detail, she tends not just to the flower beds but to the spirit of the homestead itself. Her joy is found in the little things: tidy flower beds, replenished beverages, and providing a sense of comfort that makes visitors feel instantly at home.
